Connecting the Pieces. Several members of the connection are committed to helping families that deal with autism to build a typical home life. Currently we are offering a Sunday school class for children with autism.

Vanuatu. We sent a team of eleven to the country of Vanuatu in the South Pacific to check out the work of our missionaries, Ken and Mendy Nehrbass, who are Wycliffe Bible Translators. Many church members continue to support and pray for Ken and Mendy. We also hoep to return the summer of 2010.

Mexico. Our group has several connections to Mexico. We have been helping to build a mission in Cuerna Vaca, near Mexicali. We also help with the Shalom children's ministry in Tijuana and Alamar. We go with Spectrum ministries to Tijuana too.

Kid Works. Two of our members are doing internships at Kid Works, an organization in Santa Ana. KidWorks helps with tutoring, and after school programs for kids, as well as other family-strengthening works like teaching ESL for adults, and parenting classes.

World Impact, Los Angeles. The Urban Ministry Institute. We occasionally go to the World Impact site and help with maintenance and construction. The Urban Ministry Institute trains urban poor pastors for professional ministry.
